Engagement

Well, it's official... TJ and I are engaged!!!

Here's how it happened...

TJ told me to be at his house by 7:00 dressed nice. I showed up and he had 6 dozen roses out on the table for me (so sweet). We left and headed for Scottsdale. Of course he wouldn't tell me where we were going. We pulled up to a restaurant called the Estate House. TJ dropped me off at the door and went to park. While waiting outside for TJ, the Maitre De came outside and asked if I'd be dining there. I said yes and he asked for the last name of the reservation. I said "Badger" and he looked at me with a knowing look and invited us into the restaurant. As we rounded the corner to our table, the Maitre De turned and said to me in his French accent, "You're about to see what separates the mice from the men." There was our table, covered in rose petals and candles. We sat down and TJ popped the question. Of course I said YES! We ate a delicious 6-course meal and enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. TJ is awesome and made the night so special and romantic!

Denver Trip

I took a trip to Denver for a job fair with work. TJ came up afterward and we spent the weekend with his kids. I got to see Denver and we had a great time with the boys. It was fun watching their soccer games and hanging out.

Bathing Puppy

Here are a few fun clips of Puppy getting a bath. TJ always does such a great job of making sure she’s clean and happy. We think she’s pretty cute… enjoy!

Viva Las VEGAS!!!

I recently went to Las Vegas with TJ, my roommate Jen, and my friend Laura. We had a great time. We stayed at Treasure Island and went to see the Cirque du Soleil show, Mystere. I had never been to a Las Vegas show before, and this was fantastic!

More Lola and Miscellaneous Stuff...

It's been quite a busy month. We had Valentine's day, got a puppy, I got my tonsils out, and I moved. Needless to say, I have so many things to blog about!

TJ took me to a Phoenix Coyotes hockey game on Valentine's Day. Check out the score board... what an awesome boyfriend!!!

I gave TJ Guitar Hero for Valentine's Day. He rocks out quite frequently and is getting pretty good at it. TJ, YOU ROCK!
I am now the Stake Regional YSA Rep for my ward. We had an 80's Dance Party and decided to go all out and dress up for it. As you can see, I am sporting the side pony-tail, big bangs, and blue eyeshadow. My friend Jen pulled out the crimper for the occasion.
Notice TJ with the rolled up jeans and high tops. Now that's hot!
Little Lola has been a fun little puppy. She has a cute personality and tries to be good. We're working on the potty-training. She does pretty well despite a few accidents.

Sometimes it's tough to be a puppy with stinky breath. Jen and I are trying to brush her teeth and she hates it! It's really a 2-person job. One person to hold her down, and one person to perform the cleaning. She also gets a bath about everything 3 days.

There's so many ways to get into trouble when you're a puppy!

Sleepy Lola

Of course when you're this cute, you have to have some BLING! Lola pretty much hates all collars, but sometimes we have to make sacrifices for fashion!

Everyone wants their puppy to be happy and have fun. I bought Lola some fun toys from the pet store. Of course her favorite toy is a free plastic bottle. Go figure! She's pretty funny when she's playing with it, and it usually occupies her for quite a while.

New PUPPY!!!

I got a new puppy on Friday! She’s an English Bulldog. I think her name will be Lola, but I’m not positive. We also considered Roxy, Miss Piggy, Lilly, and Jolie. So in the meantime we call her Puppy. She is very cute, but she’s a lot of work. We’re trying to train her to go to the bathroom outside. So far, we’ve only had a few accidents. Sometimes she is a very bad puppy, but for the most part she plays, sleeps, cuddles, eats, pees, poops, and stinks! We’re working on those last three things! Hopefully they won’t last too long…
